It gives us great pleasure to welcome your child/ward/student to Madrasah Uthmaan (RA) Online Madrasah classes. At Madrasah Uthmaan (RA) we strive towards the protection, maintenance, and improvement of:
- A high standard of Islāmic Education
- Forming of balanced, independent, and happy students
- Education of children/students with the primary and fundamental teachings of Islam
Adhering to the following requirements will contribute immensely to accompanying a balanced programme towards the child’s/student’s personal development and Islāmic teachings:
The parent/guardian of the child must declare that:
- They will ensure that the rules of the Madrasah are complied with.
- Payment of the compulsory Madrasah fees for 12 months will be paid in at the beginning of each quarter or as advised by the Madrasah Uthmaan (RA) administration.
- The registration form is filled in and submitted to the Madrasah.
Code of Conduct: If the child/ward/student misbehaves or shows any form of disrespect to the Ustaad (teacher), the parent/guardian/student will be contacted immediately so that a solution can be reached to maintain that which is in the best interest of the student.
- Islamic Studies Year 1 (Ages 6 – 8 years): 4 days per week:
Mondays – Thursdays: 3:00pm – 5:00pm - Islamic Studies Year 2 (Ages 9 -10 years): 4 days per week:
Mondays – Thursdays: 5:30pm – 7:00pm/7:30pm - Islamic Studies Year 3 (Ages 11 – 13 years): 4 days per week:

It is essential that all students attend class punctually. In time, we will be establishing the Google Classroom (GC) so if a student misses a lesson, the student will be able to excess the lesson at their own convenience.
- Your child/ward will be assessed and placed in a respective class.
- The Jamiatul Ulama and LMA syllabus is implemented at the Madrasah
- A special curriculum for the years + / Adult Male and Female Online Classes have been developed. See Curriculum below.
- Two examinations will be conducted, viz Mid-Year and End-Year.
- A progress report will be given mid-year and at the ned of the year.
- Assessments are oral testing and written. Written examinations are by multiple choice questions.
- Islamic Studies Year 1 – 3: Jamitaul Ulama Tasheel Series for written subjects and the Lenasia Muslim Association syllabus for the Oral Subjects (Qur’an, Surahs and Duas)
- Islamic Studies Year 1 (Adult Male): Qur’an, Surah Memorisation with Tajweed, Beginners Qur’an, Quranic Arabic, Islamic History (Seerah of Rasullullah (SAW) and Khulafaa Rashideen), Aqaaid, Taleemul Haq (Hanafi and Shafi), 40 Hadith of Imam An Nawawi, Tafsir of Surah Faatiha, last 10 surahs and Surah Yusuf and Kitaabun Nikah.
- Islamic Studies Year 1 (Adult Female): Qur’an, Surah Memorisation with Tajweed, Beginners Qur’an, Quranic Arabic, Islamic History (Seerah of Rasullullah (SAW) and Khulafaa Rashideen), Aqaaid, Taleemul Haq (Hanafi and Shafi), 40 Hadith of Imam An Nawawi, Tafsir of Surah Faatiha, last 10 surahs and Surah Yusuf and Kitaabun Nikah.

To ensure the smooth operation of the Madrasah, KINDLY ENSURE THE FEES ARE PAID IN at the beginning of each quarter.
The Ustaad/ah (Teacher): If an Ustaad/ah is absent for a lesson due to sickness/personal matter, the lesson will be made up on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday or the lesson will be posted on the group.
Problems:
- All problems will be dealt with in a private and sensitive manner
- If a parent/guardian/student has any concern regarding their child/ward a meeting can be scheduled with the Principal of the Madrasah.
General:
- The development of each child/ward is a shared responsibility between parents and teachers, so we encourage you, as the parent to be involved in the Islāmic education of your child.
- All suggestions and comments are most welcome by the Madrasah.
- Should a parent/guardian change their address, work or home telephone number, we request that you inform us immediately.
