a great opportunity to ask الـــلّــه for any wish related to this world and akhirah as the dua of a fasting person is not rejected according to hadiths, so brothers and sisters do avail this opportunity إنشاء الـــلّــه


It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah ( رضي الله عنه said: “The Messenger of Allaah (ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ

ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ) was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.” (al-Nasaa’i, 2320.


The Messenger of Allah (ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ

ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ) said; Three supplications will not be rejected (by الـــلّــه ), the supplication of the parent for his child, the supplication of the one who is fasting, and the supplication of the traveler. [al-Bayhaqi, at-Tirmidhi -Sahih]


The Prophet (ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ

ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ) was asked about fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, and he said: “Those are two days on which people’s deeds are shown to the Lord of the Worlds, and I want my deeds to be shown to Him when I am fasting.” (al-Nasaa’i, 2358; Ibn Maajah, 1740; Ahmad,3).


He was asked about fasting on Mondays and he said, “On that day I was born and on that day revelation came to me.” (Muslim, 1162).


So What exactly is stopping us fasting these extra days to gain reward, lessen our sins, and إنشاء الـــلّــه reach Jannah Al Firdaus? You can't use the excuse that 'There's no time' because it requires no time at all! See how easy الـــلّــه Aza Wajal has made it for us! سُبْحَان الله
