He...

He walks with his gaze lowered,
His eyes stay on the ground ever so low,
Reserved for his Queen from head to toe.
No other beauty does he ever yearn,
for with his Queen: Jannah he shall earn,
He walks with his gaze lowered.

He walks with his gaze lowered,
His face is decorated in a Sunnah beard,
No evil from his tongue can ever be heard.

He is a warrior of Islam with the sword of zikr,
Enjoining good and forbidding evil is his only fikr,
He walks with his gaze lowered.

He walks with his gaze lowered,
Raising his face only for dua,
For he knows his Allah is never far.
He bows his head 5 times a day,
From salaah in Jamaat he shall never sway.
He walks with his gaze lowered.

Now ask yourself my beloved brother,
Will you forsaken your God for another?
Will you walk with your head held high and epic swag?
Will you about your wealth and cars continuously brag?
Don’t despair for what you have done,
Seek forgiveness and turn to the only One.
I beg you bro, listen to what you have just heard,
And walk like the one with his gaze lowered.

Hadeeth Newsflash

Reported by K`ab bin Malik (RA): Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Two hungry wolves sent in the midst of a flock of sheep are no more destructive to them than a man's greed for wealth and fame is to his Deen.'' [At-Tirmidhi]
