Yes, I know for all you critics out there, mouse has tried many things and they stopped after a while. However the 1 minute madressah ran into a roadbloack because I could not find an online copy. Nevertheless, let us sit back and thi

nk. Today every single one of us are sitting and holding our heads, topis, scarves, duppathas, lethally spiked hair and complaining that we are inundated with problems. Why? Why are we being poked by thorns, attacked by lions etc. Well naturally it is because we have strayed from the path. What path is this? You don't need to be an engineer to know that this is the path of Shariah and Sunnah that we need to be on. One of the sure-fire ways is to adopt the Sunnah.

I want you all to sit back and think for a few seconds. We all know that the deeds of Ummah are presented to our beloved Nabi Sallallahualayiwasalam twice a week. Imagine, he was stoned till his mubarak shoes were filled with blood, he went hungry for days on end, his beloved daughter didn't have water to drink and used to ask her mother for water...and then he is told, that your ummath is sitting arm in arm with naked girls watching the Manchester Derby, swearing blatantly each time a goal is scored, proudly with the sign of a devil across their heart, your ummath is fixated to watching haraam, staying awake LATE at night watching porn, speaking to illicit beloveds, the list goes on! HE DID IT FOR THIS BELOVED UMMATH AND THIS IS HOW WE REPAY HIM? Allah save us...

In light of this, I propose(chill not like that) that we start adopting a Sunnah a week. We are weak, and if we had to try and do 1 a day, we would become lazy. So howsabout this mamoo, we try 1 a week in shaa Allah. Easy ones! Camaaan, let's make intention, I will specifically choose the easiest ones that I can find, and we make intention that from the second we read it, we will NEVER forget it intentionally and make a concerted effort to always remember it. I believe we can do this! Just 1 Sunnah, we can be engaged in sin(we should try and stay away) but let us make intention that we are starting this to gain the closeness of our beloved Mehboob Sallahualayiwasalam. I make intention that these come about in my life firstly, and let this email/post be a witness on the day of Qiyaamah that I tried to revive at least a single Sunnah in shaa Allah. You can encourage your friends, if you have any, to do them also!

1) To eat AND DRINK with the right hand

Often we find ourselves eating with the right hand, but sometimes because we don't want to mess the glass, or because we are in a rush we subconsciously drink with the left hand. NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! We should never ever do this except under very exceptional circumstances. So the act for this week is to simply remember to always eat and drink with the left hand. In Sahih Muslim it is narrated that a man ate with his left hand in the presence of Nabi Sallallahualayiwasalam and was told to him to eat with his right hand to which the man replied he cannot(out of arrogance). Then Nabi Sallallahualayiwasalam replied 'may you never be able to' and he never raised it to his mouth again. Let us reflect on this, and make a deep hearted effort not to do this. Psychologists say use some kind of mind over matter thing. So look at your left hand right now, and create some sort of vivid imagery so that when you raise your left hand to drink it makes you think you are drinking hot molten lava, even if it may be something nice. Sit for 1 minute and ponder hard about this...in shaa Allah we will all start doing this.

See that's all....Not so hard now. That's Islam for us...easy peeeesy!
